AIIMS NORCET 11 Eligibility Criteria

The qualification, nursing registration, experience and other eligibility requirements must be completed on or before 13 August 2026 unless the advertisement specifically provides a different date.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must satisfy either Qualification Route I or Qualification Route II.

Qualification Route I: B.Sc. Nursing

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing or B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council-recognised institute or university; or
  • B.Sc. Post-Certificate or Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council-recognised institute or university; and
  • Registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.

No separate experience requirement is specified for candidates applying through this qualification route.

Qualification Route II: GNM Diploma

Candidates must possess:

  • Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council-recognised institute, board or council;
  • Registration as a Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council; and
  • Two years’ experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds.

The required experience must have been obtained after completing the essential qualification, declaration of result and nursing council registration. The experience requirement must be completed by 13 August 2026. The experience certificate should mention the hospital’s bed strength, employment period, pay details and nature of duties performed. Certificate Validity

OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate

The OBC-NCL certificate must:

  • Be in the prescribed Central Government format;

  • Confirm that the candidate belongs to the Non-Creamy Layer;
  • Relate to a caste or community included in the Central OBC list;
  • Be valid for financial year 2026–27;
  • Be based on income up to the financial year ending 31 March 2026; and

If the updated certificate is not available during registration, the candidate may upload the previous certificate with acknowledgement or proof of renewal application.
